Electric Transport Offers!
Thank you to everyone who came out to our recent EV & E-bike Open Day. Around 450 people came through on the day which was so encouraging to see how many in our community are curious or committed to making the switch to electric transport.
As announced at the event, we secured some special offers for all Illawarra locals which we hope you might be interested in exploring (listed below) including the chance to win a free EV charger for your home!

Win a home EV Charger!
We’re excited to share that we have one Fronius Wattpilot EV Charger to give away to our community! This home charger is valued at $1,900 and has been kindly donated by AG Solar, one of our solar partners.
How to win it
We’re looking for people who may be willing to share their electrification journey with the community (eg. on our website) to help inspire others to act (you don’t have to have done much already!). EV Novated Lease offer
For those who are employed, novated leasing an EV can be the cheapest way to own one due to tax exemptions which are in place until the end of 2027. You could save around $8000 in tax exemptions compared with buying it outright, not to mention the fuel and maintenance savings compared with petrol or diesel cars.
Vehicle Solutions, a novated leasing company, are offering our community a free Tesla charger (valued at $750) and 4% off Polestars if you buy outright or take out a novated lease with them. Subscription eBike discount
Interested in electric bikes but not ready to purchase one or know which would suit you best? We invite you to consider taking on an e-bike subscription which is a great way to test out one or more eBikes for as little or as long as you like.

Amber Electric EV Trial
We also noted a special offer for EV owners (and soon-to-be-owners). Amber Electric is an innovative electricity retailer who, for $19 per month, give you access to the wholesale market price of electricity (which changes up and down all day). The price is lower during the day when there's lots of renewables on the grid, so you can save money by using more energy then. Next year, Amber is launching a new product designed to automatically charge your EV during those cheapest, greenest times of day.

BYD are offering $500 discount on BYD Atto 3 if you buy before 31 Dec 2023
Fonz Moto, who make electric road scooters (ie. the registered kind), have stamp duty exemptions until the end of December worth $500-600 in savings.
